I HATED this book. Oh how it broke my heart. I cried, cringed, gasped, and FELT this book. I also smiled and laughed and rooted for these characters that I so easily attached myself to. I also loathed some characters and I hope they get what they deserved for their end. I guess I shouldn’t say I hated the book. I just hate that people were treated this way. I found myself angry and saddened that Lena’s story could be very similar to someone’s real life. I wanted to jump into the pages and help them. I felt the helplessness and their sorrow for the things that were done to them. Many times I wanted to put this book down and walk away, but I had to know how Lena’s story ended. This is definitely a must read.
