Step up to the mic and give banned books a voice! 

 Choose a book, Read a short passage, share why it has been censored, what this book means to you and join us for a book club style discussion.  

Join us as we cook from *Every Season Is Soup Season* by Shelly Westerhausen Worcel! From cozy chowders and hearty chilis to fresh gazpachos, this approachable cookbook is packed with simple recipes, creative toppings, and clever ways to turn leftover soup into something entirely new.

Your Ticket includes

*One copy of the cookbook, available for pick up upon purchase of ticket.

*Participation in the potluck dinner

*All of the utensils and drinks for the evening

How it works:

1.Explore recipes from the selected cookbook at home and choose a favorite.

2.Prepare your dish at home and bring it to the event.

Gather & share. We will gather and eat together potluck style while discussing what we loved (or didn't) about the recipes and chatting about books.

We'll start with a little time to grab your wine and get settled, followed by uninterrupted reading time. Afterward, stick around to chat about what you're reading, swap recommendations, and chat with friends.

No assigned book. No discussion questions. No pressure to socialize.
